The Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff’s Association will be hosting its“Sixth Annual Fall Lobster Fest” on Wednesday, November 16th at Wachusett Country Club. This special evening will feature Maine lobster, chowder, carving stations, beer & wine tasting, dessert and much more!
As you may know, the WCRDSA is a 501 (c) (3) tax-deductible charitable organization that through private and corporate donations has in the past sponsored many worthy causes throughout Central Massachusetts. Last Fall, the Sheriff’s Annual Food Drive was the most successful ever generating over 25 tons of donated food items & feeding over 2,000 local families in need for the holiday season.
This past December in keeping with the tradition of giving back, the Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff’s Association provided over 3,000 new and lightly used winter jackets to those less fortunate throughout the region for the biggest Sheriff’s Winter Coat Drive to date and most recently on August 20th at SAC Park in Shrewsbury, over 1,000 senior citizens from across Worcester County were honored as they enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of food, fun and bingo for the Sheriff’s Annual Senior Picnic.
In order to continue with these important charitable programs, each year the Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff’s Association holds an “Annual Fall Lobster Fest.” All proceeds from the event will continue to go directly to worthy charitable causes throughout Worcester County.
